- The State Institute for Agriculture and Horticulture Saxony-Anhalt intends to procure a laboratory device: potato washing machine.
The potato washing machine is preparatory for removing dirt on potatoes for examining potato bacterioses in accordance with the implementing regulations (EU) 2022/1193 and (EU) 2022/1194 or the associated EPPO regulations PM7/21 and PM7/59.
The potato washing machine is primarily used for monitoring examinations for plant health. The device is to be operated at the LLG-Sachsen-Anhalt in the area of phytopathology at the Bernburg location. Around 300 potato samples are currently being examined annually in the field of phytopathology.
