Description:
The client plans to accommodate the Max Rubner-Institut (MRI), a Federal Research Institute in the area of responsibility of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, the implementation of a new building of a research and administration building on a property in Bremerskamp in Kiel on Ohlshausenstrasse in the immediate vicinity -Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel (CAU).
The planning, construction as well as the maintenance and operating services of the building and the outdoor facilities should be transferred to a private partner as part of a public private partnership as a owner model. An operating and maintenance term of 30 calendar years is planned.
The technical and functional, ecological and economic quality is particularly important. At least one silver certification according to BNB must be reached. From an architectural point of view, the building should adequately represent the MRI and at the same time fit into the future neighborhood use of the CAU.
