Description:
The municipality of Alsbach-Hahnlein makes known that the existing water concession agreement between the municipality of Alsbach-Hahnlein and GGEW AG expires for the area of the Alsbach-Hahnlein on December 31, 2026. The municipality of Alsbach-Hahnlein intends to do a new water concession contractto complete a term of a maximum of 30 years.
With the water concession contract to be concluded, the contractual partner of the municipality of Alsbach-Hahnlein will be the right to securely use for the exclusive public water supply of final consumers in the area of the Alsbach-Hahnleingranted. The contractual partner is also obliged to ensure the public water supply in the area of the Alsbach-Hahnlein municipality during the contract term.
The municipality points out that in the expiring concession contract for the value determination of the water distribution networkthe material time value was agreed. GWEW AG as an old concessionaire has determined and communicated this value with EUR 34,771 million on December 31, 2026.
