• As part of the new construction of the Kassel State Fire Brigade School, LBIH Kassel is planning to build two new accommodation buildings with underground parking and a classroom building to create additional capacity for training firefighters. The construction site was part of the "Dönche" military training area, with military use from 1937 to the 1970s. There was also a shooting range and an ammunition dump in the construction site.
