Description:
The large weir in the northwest of the city of Oranienburg is located and serves there with the small weir of the stowage of the Havel to Malz. About 300 m below the large weir is the solid weir Sachsenhausen, which is also known as the sole threshold. The festivalWehr Sachsenhausen is part of the traffic jam system and serves to stabilize the water sole below the large weir. The big weir was built in 1892. It has four military fields of 3.50 m opening width each. The old weir is ailing and must be replaced by a new building. AccordinglyThe WRRL is produced by ecological continuity on the weirs.
