Procurement of 17 defibrillators in variable equipment for various inpatient areas of application in the St. Vincenz Hospital Limburg
As part of the strategic development of emergency care in the St. Vincenz Hospital, the existing defibrillator infrastructure is to be modernized. Harmonization with the devices of the regional emergency services - in particular with regard to type, control logic and consumption materials - is desirable to optimize compatibility in the event of resuscitation. At the same time, a uniform standard in the house is to be created, which the Device confidentiality of the staff increases and improves the quality of treatment and patient safety through modern feedback systems as well as expanded monitoring.
The new acquisition of 17 is planned if possible uniform defibrillators in variable equipment, tailored to the respective stationary areas of application. The new devices should offer diagnostic additional functions, such as capnography, and, if possible, eliminate the existing interface problems.
Particular value is placed on a powerful data transmission that a structured documentation in the Hospital information system (Dedalus Orbis) and enables the patient data management system (COPRA). This not only supports quality management, but also meets the requirements as part of the certification as a Cardiac Arrest Center.
