- Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden Airport (FKB) is an international commercial airport with a 3 km long runway and all-weather operations. It is approved for commercial operation of all aircraft and helicopter categories. With an annual traffic volume of more than 35,000 flight movementsn and a mix of scheduled, charter, freight, business travel, private and company traffic, it is the second largest airport in Baden-Wuerttemberg. The ground power supply is currently ensured by mobile diesel-powered Ground Power Units (dGPU). In the future, this will be powered by mobile battery electricsical Ground Power Units (mobile eGPU) can be replaced. Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden Airport (FKB) plans to procure five mobile eGPUs.
