Description:
The federal company for final storage mbH (BGE) is operator of the repository for radioactive waste Morsleben (ERAM) in Saxony-Anhalt. Between 1971 and 1991 and from 1994 to 1998, around 37,000 cubic meters of weak and medium-radioactive waste were stored here. The repository should be shut down in the future with the whereabouts of the waste. In order to be able to carry out transport and transaction work in the over-day control area of the ERAM, a battery-electric powered, standard fork truck with a load load of 5 tons at a load focus of at least 600 mm should be purchased. The vehicle is intended to be structurally and technically the state of the art, as well as the currently applicable laws and standards. Since the use is planned primarily outdoors under daily weather influence over the entire year, vehicle and driver's cabs must be designed accordingly weatherproof and air conditioned, but also enough to offer ventilation.
