- Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe AG (DVB) has had a modular ITCS for several decades, the components of which are provided by various manufacturers. With this sub -project, it intends to modernize several components within the ITC to use new, Powerful communication technologies within the vehicles and via the air interfaces to the control center and the vehicle environment to be able to cope with future requirements in traffic management.
As part of the equipment and implementation, all buses and low -floor roadways are To equip DVB with a corresponding vehicle broker calculator. In addition, the audio management system of the DVB control center must be replaced and radio communication for language and data communication between vehicles, dispatchers and the land side.
The range of tasks of this Task ranges from the development of completely new functionalities based on new hardware and software to the preservation of proven inventory functionalities and interfaces to connected systems and components, which are retained in the course of processing.
