Description: Hamburger Hochbahn AG intends to renew the signal boxes of the entire U1 line in conventional signal box technology (GoA 1) with all indoor and outdoor facilities under the project title "Signal box renewal of line U1". Different interlocking technologies from different manufacturers are currently in operation on the underground line 1. All signal boxes are operated centrally from the underground operating center.
The track layout signal boxes at the stops in Ohlsdorf (OH), Kellinghusenstrasse (KE), Volksdorf (VF), Schmalenbeck (SK), which were put into operation in the period from 1979 to 1987, become brittle due to insulation embrittlement on the jumper wires and the aging of the track layout groups replaced after approx. 40 years in the period 2025-2027.
In the area of Ochsenzoll (OZ), Garstedt (GA), Norderstedt (NO), the first electronic signal boxes were put into operation at HOCHBAHN from 1996 to 2000. Was used...
