Description:
The software tung Capture and Virtual Rescan (manufacturer: Tungsteuten Automation) has been used in the Hessian state administration at Enterprise level since 2005 in the current central production company as part of a client server solution (within the state intranet) to scanned Documents of the Hessian departments mainly to the target system DMS (Hedok or DMS 4.0) as well as to SAP and to Microsoft Shares. The scanned documents are converted to PDF/A for the DMS of the State of Hesse. A conversion of electronic documents such as Word files, E-mails with attachments/signature or zip files are also carried out for long-term archiving according to PDF/a. The clients are located decentrally with the state customers and are required for the creation and forwarding to the HZD, the productive server company with further processing of the Stack is guaranteed centrally in the HZD. The conversion to long -term archiving can be configured centrally for the individual methods (e.g. different target formats). At the same time Surroundings in the HZD to restricted operation on which selected scan and conversion services take place. A system transition for the DMS services is expected to take place within the next three years by analyzing and increasing (security) requirements accordingly converting/out/out. rebuilt and transferred to a permanent central operation.
