Description:
In BASF SE's Ludwigshafen combined terminal, the existing M10 and M20 handling modules, each equipped with two gantry crane systems, are to be converted into a Module 50. The subject of this tender is the procurement of three rail gantry crane systems for the handling of Loading units in combined rail-road transport for Module 50. In a further expansion stage that is not the subject of this procedure, BASF reserves the right to procure another crane that can be operated in conjunction with the first three. In the short profile of the project Further options were mentioned, in particular the delivery of another spreader and crane cabins. The service description (specification) sent with the invitation to submit an offer is a mandatory requirement from BASF SE regarding the execution of the rail gantry crane systems.
