Description:
The Rheinbahn area is responsible for planning, operating and maintaining rail vehicles and buses. The Rheinbahn plans the introduction of a modern workshop management system (WMS) in order to pursue the following details: 1. Digital options for Example the order disposition and to plan the use of resources as well as the vehicle and material disposition. 2. enable mobile handling of the maintenance work (execution of work orders and feedback performed). 3. Establishment by mobile data acquisition of the Reduce order data. 4. Eliminate errors and disorders from the maintenance process, e.g. by double and/or manual data input. 5. Accelerate work processes through digitization of the technical documentation. 6. A transparent database to derive automated reports create in maintenance. 7. The automatic exchange of relevant data with SAP must be ensured (see also application / database / system4.1), whereby the WMS should be a supplement to the leading maintenance system SAP. 8. The WMS is said to be developed via a Rheinbahn The WMS should have a flexible, modularized implementation approach, so that further functionalities can be successively supplemented after implementing the core functionalities. German is required as a project language.
