To create an intermunicipal connection between the WKA and the VG-Werke Puderbach, an interconnection pipeline is to be built required between the PW Amteroth and the HB Keltenhuegel. During regular operation, water is released towards Puderbach. However, the pipeline is designed in such a way that water can also be delivered in the opposite direction. When fed in from the direction of Puderbach, the water is in the Oberwambach elevated tank temporarily stored. A bypass in the Oberwambach elevated tank is therefore required to hydraulically connect the new line.
