Description:
The subject of the order is the readiness for use of already procured parachute systems from the US company CPS, breathing gas supply systems for parachutists with oxygen consoles from the US company EATON that can be installed in aircraft and a WErk- and storage container for breathing oxygen from the DEU company B/E Aerospace.
A German military type approval for the parachutes and the oxygen systems is required in close cooperation with the aviation office of the German Armed Forces and the American manufacturers according to German military specific approvalprocesses.
These require, among other things, the manufacturer's own documents or, if they are not available, verification documents to be created by the contractor.
Furthermore, the contractor for the material procured (parachutes, oxygen systems and work and storage containersbreathing oxygen) carry out comprehensive initial training for Bundeswehr personnel in operation, maintenance and repair.
In addition, the contractor is required to integrate this material into the central, SASPF-based logistics system of the Bundeswehr in close cooperation with the logistics commando and the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and to make them supplyable and maintainable.
For these services, the contractor must provide a suitable project management organization with regular reporting.
