Description:
As part of the Siwamed project, a cyber security view for Wearables with built-in sensors for recording health data is to be carried out and an overview of their current state of the art is to be given. These devices must have at least sensors to record pulse and blood oxygen saturation information, ideally they also offer sensors for an electrocardiogram. Based on comprehensive security tests (including penetration test, fuzzing tests, executing of malice code), it should be shown at the soft and hardware level with what effort and under what conditions possible weaknesses can be exploited. The determined data is intended to prove which IT security problems there are in the sector of the wearables and with what effort it is theoretically possible to get unauthorized access. On the one hand, the results are to be presented clearly and additionally developed and published in a cyber security view, so that IT security recommendations for wearables can be pronounced in the future.
