Description:
The aim of the ISDUBA project (internal system for download and evaluating Advisories) is to create and evaluate the preparation of software to automatically download and evaluate security advisories and documents that correspond to the standard CSAF 2.0. With the help of the project, the existing tools for CSAF should be expanded on the one hand and, on the other hand, the current workflow is facilitated. In addition, decisions regarding the relevance of an advisory should be simplified (e.g. by filter options with regard to criticism of the weak points or certain components) and other actions (e.g. importing patches) can be documented. This is the only way to significantly reduce the manual expenses in the BSI. By publishing as an open source software, the source code can be used, expanded and adapted to special needs.
