Description:
The procedure concerns the award of a construction concession i. S.d. § 105 Para. 1 No. 1 GWB by means of a negotiated procedure with participation competition in accordance with the provisions of the Concession Award Ordinance (KonzVgV). If there is a corresponding number of suitable applicants, a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 8 will be accepted Applicants/applicant groups are involved in the negotiation process with an invitation to submit an offer.
Project Coal2Cloud investor selection process for the conversion of the Frimmersdorf power plant
The subject of the overall "Coal2Cloud" project is the comprehensive conversion of a former power plant site project development to be continued as well as its planning and structural implementation. A digital park is to be built on the site of the former brown coal power plant at the Frimmersdorf site. Key project components include the construction of a modern hyperscale data center AI, the preparation, development and drainage of the building areas and the conversion of the central power plant building into the heart of the digital park with rooms for data centers, communication, events and creative work and other viable uses.
