Description:
The Charite University Medical Center Berlin, the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH) and Bayer AG are planning the establishment of this translation center for cell and genetic therapies in Berlin (Berlin Center for Gene and Cell Therapy BCGCT). The project management is responsible for the Charite, represented by the Bau. In the center, start-ups are supported to bring their innovative approaches to genetic and cell therapeutic agents into clinical development.
In a so-called incubator with fully equipped laboratory and work surfaces as well as a production area (GMP system) for the Development of therapies to clinical phase II should get start-ups the opportunity to advance research in these areas.
Based on the fee regulations for architects and engineers (HOAI) or the series of the committee of the associations and chambers of the engineers and Architects for the Honorary Ordinance (AHO) awards the Charite construction service on behalf of the Gene and Cell Therapies Incubator GmbH.
