In the area of the infrastructure projects Suedwest of DB Infrago AGThe project is currently in the Freiburg portfolio for the expansion and electrification of the approximately 75-kilometer Hochrheinbahn between Basel Bad BF (KM 270.398) and BF Erzingen (Baden) (345.768 km), as part of the DB route 4000. In the further course from Erzingen to Constance, the route is alreadyequipped with overhead line. With the project, the entire section between Basel and Konstanz is to be continuously electrified and the offer in rail passenger traffic (SPNV) is expanded.
