• The municipal clinic Karlsruhe (SKK) is the largest hospital in the "Middle Upper Rhine" region. It is designated as a house of maximum care in the Hospital requirements plan of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg and the teaching hospital of the University of Freiburg. The SKK operates in municipal sponsorshipCurrently 1,596 beds according to the state hospital plan. In 2022, around 54,000 patients were cared for inpatient or partially inpatient and around 191.00 outpatient. The clinic provides approximately 300,000 to 1,000,000 people in a technical point of view. The SKK developed target planning in 09/2009. After completionand commissioning of the new buildings and a large part of the other measures should take place in the upcoming further development steps in the sense of a future -proof high -performance location for medicine the reorganization of the sometimes listed existing buildings. The now to be renovatedBuilding house C is an existing building from the beginnings of the clinic, year of construction around 1907 with partially listed parties in the interior and outdoor area. The building is currently empty. With the commissioning of the central new building Haus M, the one in Haus CLocated old surgical department can be taken out of operation. A module building with three other surgical halls has already been dismantled. Empty areas on the 1st floor and the 2nd floor could be used at short notice for additional plan beds in child and adolescent psychiatry,However, without a fundamental renovation of the areas. The future usage concept provides for the skin clinic on the ground floor, with the bed-carrying area, the day clinic, the examination and treatment areas including an outpatient surgery area.
