Description:
The restoration of nature is a central point of the national strategy for biological diversity (NBS) and the EU biodiversity strategy for 2030. The EU Commission's Vo draft on the restoration of nature (W-VO) provides, among other things, for certain marine speciesAnd to restore important habitats of sufficient quality. The creation of retreat and relaxation rooms is also an environmental goal of the marine strategy framework directive (MSRL). This project focuses on those in the German AWZ of the North and Baltic Sea, endangered speciesstand, which are not taken into account by the FFH attachments, but are described as endangered by other lists (red list, Ospar, Helcom). The project is intended to close knowledge gaps and provide planning aid for those threatened species that have so far been less the focus of nature conservation measuresstood. In the project, selected species as well as their suitable habitats are examined in order to be able to build recommendations and measures for the minimum claims and location in the habitat recovery for these species.
