• DB InfraGO AG plans to build or expand the approximately 88 kilometer long railway line between the Hanseatic city of Lübeck and Puttgarden on the island of Fehmarn to two tracks and to electrify it. The southernmost section of the route to be insured here The rail connection of the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link (FBQ) covers the Hanseatic city of Lübeck and extends for around eight kilometers. It begins at the Travekanal railway overpass, goes along Lübeck main station and ends in the Teerhofinsel area the border with Bad Schwartau. The investment amount for this project is estimated at approximately EUR 631 million. Approximately EUR 56 million of this has already been settled under an existing contract. The insurance contract begins after the tendering process has ended on the date of the award following a currently existing contract Advance coverage.
