Description:
The route section to be insured is a section of the "Rhein-Ruhr-Express" (RRX), for which the infrastructure is expanded between Cologne and Dortmund. Due to the spatial expansion, the route length and special local conditions, the RRX core route was in
Planning sections structured. In the present procedure, the planning sections 5.1 and 5.4 are treated in Bochum, which form the plan approval area 5b. The insurance for PFB 5a (Essen) with the planning sections 5.2 and 5.3 is treated in a separate award procedure.
The Investment amount for the project advertised here is estimated at around EUR 120 million. From this, around EUR 15 million have already been billed via an existing contract. The newly advertised insurance contract will replace the existing contract. It will be with a currently planned construction time until December 31, 2029. The insurance contract begins with the date of the surcharge after the contract is terminated after the award.
