• Description:
• The structural condition and the existing space deficit of the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin pharmacy on the Virchow-Klinikum (CVK) campus, Augustenburger Platz 1, 13353 Berlin, lead to the need to build a replacement building GMP laboratory space of the appropriate size. The areas currently used by the central pharmacy, cell therapy and radiopharmacy do not adequately meet the official and technical standards and are particularly limited in terms of area no longer sufficient to meet the increasing demand. In order to ensure the necessary state-of-the-art working environments in all three facilities, including maintaining manufacturing permits for production, one thing is required urgent replacement for these pharmaceutical areas. Retrofitting existing buildings to the extent required is not possible or economical, but the volume of space required in the meantime is also not available in existing buildings.
