- Project management - ESTW airport regional train station The ESTW Frankfurt Airport Regional Station project includes the conversion of the control and safety technology (LST) of the Frankfurt Airport Regional Station (Ril 100: FFLU), as well as the adjacent open route to Kelsterbach (Ril 100: FKCH) on route 3683 (Kleyerstrasse - Kelsterbach junction) on the so-called airport loop, on ESTW technology. This is necessary so that the Hinkelstein junction to be built through the Regionaltangente West (RTW). (Ril 100: FHIN) does not have to be integrated as an ESTW isolated solution within the control area of the RSTW Kelsterbach Kf. The project is located in the planning approval sections (PfA) Central and South 1 of the RTW. There is also block compression on the Route 3683 in the direction of the stop and transfer point (Hp Üst) Gateway Gardens (Ril 100: FFGG) and the planning of elective slip-through routes in Frankfurt Airport Regional Station to implement the planned timetable after the RTW goes into operation Necessary in 2029. The new ESTW-A is to be integrated into the existing ESTW-UZ Goldstein of the Simis-D design and is generally operated from an existing control station in the Frankfurt operations center. The adjustment range extends between the Block signals from the Hinkelstein junction in the west and the open route between Frankfurt Airport Regional Station and Frankfurt Gateway Gardens in the east.
