- Vattenfall Waerme Berlin Aktiengesellschaft intends to gradually replace the coal-fired systems at the Reuter West location, Grosser Spreering 5, 13599 Berlin with various climate-friendly systems. The aim of the project is to modernize and decarbonize the siteto pave the way to a climate-neutral electricity and heat supply for the capital beyond 2030 (the overall project).
According to the current planning status, Vattenfall Waerme Berlin Aktiengesellschaft intends to achieve this goal using various sub-projects and overarching measures
The local announcement concerns the sub-project "REB" (REB Reuter Electrical Backbone - new electrical infrastructure at the Reuter West location) and within this sub-project lot 4 - electrical systems = 10kV, switching E-HWE to 110kV, cabling ( For details see II.2).
The entire REB project consists of 4 lots:
•Lot 1 - Civil engineering (EU contract notice - 2022/S 048-125530)
•Lot 2 - ET/LT equipment ≤ 10kV (details see II.2)
•Lot 3 - ET/LT equipment 10kV
•Lot 4 - Electrical systems = 10kV, switching E-HWE to 110kV, cabling (see detailsII.2)
and represents the future electrotechnical / control center (high-voltage substation) at the Reuter / Reuter West location.
