Description:
The Vogtlandkreis, as the concession provider, intends to build and operate a sustainable, future-proof and convergent gigabit network and the Erbring of end customer services in the expansion area. The tender extends to sub-areas that are classified as so-called white and gray spots, i.e. in which a supply with a downstream rate of at least 200 Mbit/s symmetrical or 500 Mbit /s currently notdoes not exist and is not expected within the next three years.
As part of the application for the preliminary grant notice, the economic efficiency gap model was identified as the most economical alternative for the expansion area. The earmarking period is seven (7) years.
The Vogtlandkreis is pursuing the goal of achieving comprehensive gigabit coverage in the entire expansion area in accordance with the funding conditions. The goal is to create a comprehensive supply of gigabit Internet connections and corresponding data transfer servicesYield rates of at least 1 Gbit/s in the downstream and 1 Gbit/s in the upstream for all connection users in the expansion areas.
