The 4-storey building (basement to 2nd floor) consists of a classroom wing (each with 4 rooms) with a connection to the GYM, a sports wing with a triple sports hall, a single sports hall and a swimming pool. *The primary and middle school with sports wing, connecting corridor and the forecourt with amphitheater are listed buildings. The Bertolt Brecht High School from 1972 is a three-class girls' high school. In 2016, a pavilion was built as an interim solution, with classrooms (GS) and cafeteria for the GS and MS. The existing buildings of the primary and middle school, as well as the high school, have serious deficiencies in the areas of fire protection, technical equipment, Pollution, heat and sound insulation, statics and accessibility. The construction measures described below are taking place in several construction phases while the school is in operation, with a high degree of complexity and construction logistics.
