Description:
The project "Quantum computingmobility problems. For this purpose, tailor-made quantum algorithms and demonstration problems are developed, which are implemented on the quantum computing hardware at the DLR innovation centers.
In cooperation between industrial partners and DLR institutes, quantum computing for mobileity applications can be used. These include strategic and tactical planning processes in air traffic, optimization problems in demand-oriented traffic in road traffic, planning and scheduling processes in rail traffic, and route and trajectory optimization at hocha in maritime trafficautomated/autonomous systems, as well as the optimization of multi-dimensional logistics networks in intermodal transport. The project results are included in the "Quantum Computing and Mobility" roadmap. The DLR Institute of Transport Research is responsible for the mobility domain of intermodal transport.The overarching goal of this sub-project is to control intermodal transport logistics chains and optimize multi-dimensional logistics networks using quantum computing.
