The Federal Institute for Geosciences and Raw Materials (BGR) intends, as part of the exploration work on marine polymetallic sulfide fields in the Indian Ocean, a scientific plausibility and quality check of existing oceanographic data as well as their structuring and To commission preparation. Data and results in the context of sedimentological and bioguechemical processes. already Available flow meter data via the temperature, direction and speed of water masses as well as the data collected by sinking material anchors, wreathwater creators and other devices about temperature, salinity, density and partially available oceanographic information (e.g. Ph, Redox, cloudy).
