Description:
As part of the project "Regional Everyday Cycle Path Network OstWestfalenLippe (Radnetz OWL)" (see appendix), a concept for a complete and traffic-safe everyday cycle network was developed for the region. This includes a variety of cycle routes for which there is a sufficiently high potential of cyclists was determined and which were classified into three network categories as part of the concept development. The Delbrueck Paderborn connection was defined as a connection in network category I (highest network category) within the framework of these everyday cycle networks. The connection should therefore be a cycle priority route as standard be implemented. For this purpose, the Paderborn district and the road construction administration have concluded a corresponding planning agreement, according to which the Paderborn district will tender the planning services for the Delbrueck-Paderborn cycle priority route on behalf of and on behalf of the road construction administration has to carry out.
Service phases 1 and 2 are advertised according to HOAI 2021.
