• RB Jungfernheide, new laboratory building, VE 07 doors/partition systems Doors and partition systems Berliner Wasserbetriebe (BWB) is planning to build several new buildings at the Jungfernheide site in the Spandau / Siemensstadt district. The planned new construction measures The corner of Motardstrasse and Rohrdamm includes a 4-story laboratory building with a basement and a single-story supply building. A central laboratory is to be built at the Jungfernheide location, which will house the laboratories that are currently decentralized in Berlin combined into one roof. The new building is of central importance for Berliner Wasserbetriebe. The central laboratory will carry out both drinking water analysis for, among other things, the waterworks and the pipe network, as well as wastewater analysis for the sewage treatment plants, the sewer network, carry out the analysis for the discharge monitoring and the surrounding samples. The new building is designed as a reinforced concrete skeleton made of load-bearing reinforced concrete ceilings and columns as well as non-load-bearing external walls in a wooden frame construction. The new laboratory building has a static grid of 3.60 m. The technology center is planned as a purely wooden structure with wooden supports and trusses.
