Altenwalde stop (title 1): The city of Cuxhaven plans to reactivate a train stop in the Altenwalde district. The project includes the construction of the "Altenwalde" traffic station in order to establish a SPNV connection on the Cuxhaven-Bremerhaven railway line in the future. The project includesEssentially, the new construction of a 175-meter-long outskirts with the measures required by the railway side in the Altenwalde district, in the area of the level crossing on Robert-Koch-Strasse. The planned train stop is located on the Cuxhaven - Bremerhaven (VZG 1310) railway lineNordholz - Cuxhaven. The trains of regional traffic are currently driving the 80 km long, non -electrified route every hour. According to the forecast data of the LNVG and the railway traffic company, around 300 incoming and eliminating travelers per day will be in both directions per daycalculate.
