Description:
AOK Rheinland/Hamburg intends to build a new Human Resources (HR) Academy (approx. 7,900 m2 of usable space) at the location of today's education center in Grevenbroich. The existing building (built in 1982) is missing because of various reasons (including renovation backlog, changed requirements to the educational concept of the HR Academy department) cannot meet the requirements of a sustainable educational center.
In particular, training rooms, a hotel, restaurant/sports bar, administration rooms, a fitness area and outdoor areas need to be re-planned.
The property has a total of... Size of around 3.6 hectares. Due to various existing restrictions - the provisionally secured flood area of the Erft, species and nature conservation, access and passage through the property as well as the applicable planning law - a construction site has been defined for the construction of the new building. In the The interaction between the building and the outside space must be viewed in its entirety within the context of the competition with regard to open space planning issues.
The sponsor is aiming for DGNB gold certification for the new HR Academy building.
AOK Rheinland/Hamburg intends to do so with reservations a positive approval application from the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (MAGS NRW) as the responsible supervisory authority ensures a timely implementation of the measure in construction stages after the competition has been completed.
