Description:
The city of Asperg intends to build a new 4-field sports hall to replace the existing circular sports hall.
Due to the large demand for hall capacities, the hall is to be planned as a four-field hall. The aim is to cover the need for additional parts of the hall with the new building.

In addition to the nAccording to the DIN specified sizes of the fields of the 4-field hall, a small kitchen area with catering facilities for spectators is also to be provided. Furthermore, a grandstand for 250 permanent seats and 150 standing places is to be planned. The NUF of the sports hall and adjoining roomswill probably be approx. 4,000m2.

The property intended for the sports hall is located to the south on an area currently used for agriculture on the southern outskirts of Asperg, adjacent to the Friedrich-List-Gymnasium with the existing circular sports hall. Because of the locationon the outskirts of the city, the integration of the sports hall into the landscape is of particular importance.

A realization competition is to be held for this purpose. The subject of the competition are services according to HOAI for the conception of a new building for a sports hall in Asperg.
