The state of Baden-Wuerttemberg and the state capital Stuttgart (LHS) operate and finance the Wuerttembergische Staatstheater Stuttgart (WST), the largest three-part theater in the world and the largest cultural institution in the city and state. Opera houses, the Stuttgart Ballet is one of the most internationally renowned ballet companies. Stuttgart (WST) at the Oberer Schlossgarten location, consisting of the listed opera house, the administration building and the backdrop building, must urgently needs to be renovated, modernized and expanded.
