• Reconstruction and expansion of the Westpfalz Clinic at the Kirchheimbolanden location The Westpfalz-Klinikum is located on the western outskirts of Kirchheimbolanden and consists of several components from different times. The oldest part of the complex Ward block 5 and the treatment building (outpatient clinics + operating room) to the north from the mid-1950s. In the 1990s, extensions to the operating room department, the entrance area with cafeteria/staff catering and the Intensive care unit. From 2000 onwards, extensions to the delivery room were built, followed by the outpatient surgery center and the new chief medical area in 2011. The last building block to be built was the 4-storey MVZ, directly connected to the emergency room.
