• Reconstruction and expansion of the Westpfalz Clinic at the Kirchheimbolanden location Reconstruction and expansion of the Westpfalz Clinic at the Kirchheimbolanden location The Westpfalz-Klinikum is located on the western outskirts of Kirchheimbolanden and consists of several hospitals Components from different times of origin. The oldest part of the complex is ward house 5 and the treatment building (outpatient clinics + operating room) to the north from the mid-1950s. In the 1990s, extensions to the operating room department followed, the entrance area with cafeteria/staff catering and the intensive care department. From 2000 onwards, extensions were built to the delivery room, followed by the outpatient surgery center and the new chief medical area in 2011. The last building block was built in direct connection to the Emergency room in the 4-story MVZ. To the south, east and north there are residential areas; to the west there are no buildings in the immediate vicinity, but rather green meadows and fields that lead uphill to wooded areas.
