The object known as the "Lottenhof" is located in Sibling -Scholl -Strasse34 in the Potsdam-West district of the state capital Potsdam, directly adjacent to the Park Sanssouci Park of the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation. On the property (hallway: 022, parcel: 1123, district: Potsdam) there is a building built in 1971, which during the GDR era as a HO-Gaststatte"Charlottenhof" was available for visitors to the Sanssouci castle facilities and was also used as a meeting point for the residents of the neighborhood. The building is a restaurant type building based on a one built on the Peissnitzinsel in Halle (Saale)Restaurant building. The single -storey building is characterized by a center -up hall - the former glass hall (below: hall) - with foyer and the subsequent former tavern tract (following: cross -wing) for the service and supply area. An architectural peculiarityis the external structure consisting of four steel pylons that carry the roof structure via steel jars.
