- The municipality of Appenweier operates a mechanical-biological sewage treatment plant to clean the wastewater from the districts of Appenweier, Urloffen and Nesselried. For expansion and optimization, the sewage treatment plant is supplemented by another revelation basin, two backlog basin, and a technology building.
In The EMSR technology is advertised this lot and is divided into the following main crowds:
