Together with other transport companies, regiobus Hannover GmbH operates local public transport in the transport association “Greater Area Traffic Hanover” (GVH). regiobus Hannover GmbH was founded in 1998 and emerged from the merger of three transport companies and a service company. regiobus Hannover GmbH is spread over six locations with administration in Hanover and the depots in Burgdorf, Mellendorf, Neustadt am Rbge., Wunstorf and Eldagsen. The company employs around 800 people. With almost 400 vehicles used in regular services (260 of which are our own), around 28 million passengers travel annually promoted. To provide its services, regiobus Hannover GmbH also uses other bus companies, which currently operate 130 vehicles for regiobus Hannover GmbH in regional transport in the Hanover region. Currently about a third is the mileage of 6 companies, which together achieve a mileage of 7.4 million company vehicle kilometers annually. The subject of the present procurement procedure is the provision of regular transport services in accordance with Sections 42, 43 Passenger Transport Act (PBefG).
