The project is located in the Free State of Saxony, Bautzen district, approx. 4 km east of the city of Hoyerswerda on the western bank of Lake Siebel. The west bank of Lake Lake is to be used to use tourist use. The first construction measures have already been implemented by the Lausitzer and Mitteldeutsche Bergbau-Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH (LMBV) by means of VWA § 4. In the course of this, a central one was already in 2023 to 2025 Parking, a playground and a toilet facility completed (partial object 1). The city of Hoyerswerda drives the sustainable tourist development on the west bank of the Scheibel lake on its own using further funding.
