Description:
The WDR operating center (BZ) at the Langenberg location monitors the distribution networks for the supply of the participants with programs of the WDR. All signals for internet program distribution, DAB+, FM, DVB-S2 and DVB-T2 are monitored 365/24/7. To determineDeviations of this operating status and the initiation of interference measures are necessary monitoring and measuring devices. The monitoring is carried out with the technical facilities in the BZ, in particular the control technology, the KVM monitor wall. The system from 2016must be renewed due to the age -related lower operating stability and the increasing lack of spare parts. The allocation includes the establishment of a georedundance for the Havarie BZ at the Cologne location. The following measures are the subject of the award: Monitor wall: for the monitor wall10 displays with UHD resolution and 55-inch are to be delivered and assembled, which must be placed in the existing monitor wall instead of the old displays. An eleventh display of this type is intended for warehousing. For reasons of operating stability, the displays musthave 24/7 certification of the manufacturer.
