• Renovation and expansion of the existing town hall of the Kastellaun municipal administration - technical building equipment, heating, ventilation, plumbing The municipality of Kastellaun is planning to renovate and expand the existing town hall Association of municipalities in Kastellaun. The following measures must be planned and implemented: 1.)Energy-related renovation The existing building, built in 1968, is to be renovated to improve energy efficiency. It is planned to remove all windows and external doors, most of which are still out from the construction period, including replacing the external sun protection devices. Furthermore, the facade and roof are to be renovated in terms of energy efficiency so that a building standard that exceeds the legal minimum level is achieved. 2.)More accessible Expansion To improve accessibility, a barrier-free elevator will be installed in the building. There is currently an elevator that does not meet the DIN standard requirements. It can be assumed that this will require internal restructuring premises may be required. In the course of this, the existing server room on the 4th floor will also be rearranged. 3.)Extension Barrier-free, multifunctional meeting rooms with their own sanitary area are to be added on the ground floor.
