Description:
The city of Burghausen intends to comprehensively renovate parts of the existing indoor swimming pool.
As part of the current renovation measure, comprehensive modernizations are now being carried out original indoor swimming pool from 1970.
Scope of the renovation measure
The following areas of the old building are affected by the renovation:
- Swimming hall with 50 meter pool
- Diving hall with pool and diving facility
- Changing areas on the ground floor, as well as the swimming pool administration rooms
- Personnel areas in the basement
- Technical cellar of the old building
Not included in the scope of renovation:
- The adventure pool area with sauna (expansion from 2003)
- The outdoor swimming pool area, including the outdoor brine pool built in 2019
Operation during construction
- The sauna facility remains open throughout Open during construction.
- The outdoor swimming pool can still be used in the summer months.
Access and visitor guidance
- During construction, visitor access will be via a path along the Wacker Stadium, west of the construction site boundary.
