The NRW Forum in Duesseldorf is an international exhibition center and part of the Museum Kunstpalast Foundation. The listed, 100-year-old building is to be renovated and redesigned due to various defects. The NRW Forum in Duesseldorf is intended to be the central one meeting place for a young target group between the ages of 15 and 35. The basis for this is a comprehensive structural and Functional renovation of the approximately 100-year-old, listed building. It is a building with a total size of approx. 5,900 sqm GFA (constructed space). The existing condition shows significant structural and technical deficits; In particular, the infrastructure does not correspond more to today's requirements for security, accessibility, energy efficiency and contemporary cultural activities. The aim of the measure is to secure the building structure, modernize the technical building equipment and adapt the premises to a future-oriented one Usage concept.
