Renovation/conversion of student residences into rental accommodation, carpentry and wood construction work
The existing residential complex from 1993 consists of four free-standing buildings, two of which are accessed via a common stair tower.
As part of the conversion of 42 Student apartments in 42 rental apartments are undergoing renovation and energy-saving renovation work. The buildings will be brought up to date with the latest technology.
The 4 and 5 storey buildings, which were built as an arcade type, no longer meet today's technical requirements and specifications regarding fire, sound and heat protection.
The energetic modernization involves upgrading the facade with a thermal insulation composite system, as well as replacing and rebuilding window elements, roller shutters, access doors, wall surfaces and floor surfaces, etc. The four pent roofs receive additional thermal insulation and a new roof covering. PV systems are installed on the roofs.
In order to meet the requirements and specifications of the KFW for an Efficiency House 85, the measures described so far also include the heating system including piping and radiators exchanged. The electrical and plumbing installations will be completely renewed.
The existing construction will be largely retained and only changed in absolutely necessary cases. The screed should also be kept in its current form, with a few interventions if possible remain.
