- The tender includes the restoration of the target profile of the underwater embankment in approx. 51 damaged embankment areas of different lengths between canal kilometers 5 (Averlak / Kudensee) and 75 (Sehestedt) on both sides of the NOK by means of delivery and the installation of 24,000 t. Hydraulic stones (natural stone, LMB 60) to create a loose stone wall to secure the upper embankment area during excavation (construction phase 1, appendix 5.1), excavation of demolition edges and overhangs including profiling according to the target profile (construction process phase 2, appendix 5.2), Delivery and installation of 60,000 t. Sand-gravel mixture (filter level 1 according to BAW recommendation, appendix 4.1) for filling soil defects (construction phase 3, appendix 5.3), delivery and installation of 35,000 t of gravel-stone mixture (filter level 2 according to BAW recommendation, appendix 4.2) for covering and erosion control filter stage 1 (construction phase 4, appendix 5.4), delivery and installation of 80,000 t of natural stone quarry 1-200 with high positional stability for filling large areas of defects, primarily priority II (construction process phase 4, appendix 5.4), delivery and installation of 23,000 t of hydraulic stones (natural stone, LMB 60) to secure and cover the backfill areas in the event of priority I damage (construction phase 5, appendix 5.5), installation of 1,000 m2 bank protection mats to protect against erosion of unstable soils as well as dredging and profiling of excess soil on the underwater embankment the success control of all work steps using monitoring plans.
