• With the construction of the Radolfzell-Konstanz and Radolfzell quantities in 1860-1873, the Mettnau peninsula was separated from the urban area. Since then, bridge constructions have ultimately been replaced in 1998 by the completion of the north bridge, the Guenter-Neurohr Bridge. This made also noticeably relieved the traffic situation. With the acquisition of the railway area, the building area was considered. This was also taken into account when planning the bridge.
